Armor Piercing
Transmutation
Level: Matter Shifter Adept/Wizard 3
Components: V,S,M
Casting time: 1 Standard Action
Range: Touch
Target, Effect, or Area: One Weapon or Projectile
Duration: 1d4 rounds + 1 round/level
Saving Throw: No
Spell Resistance: No

By realigning and hardening the atomic structure of the weapon this spell is cast upon, it is able to bypass hardness and armor completely for a short while. Also, any armor or object that is struck by a weapon enhanced with this spell permanently loses 1 point of hardness or armor class until it becomes repaired.

Material Component: Grind an unpolished diamond across a small steel bar, then brush the steel bar over the weapon's blade.
