Allows you to detect intelligent life within your vicinity. The amount of information revealed depends on how long you study a particular area of object. An intelligent foe may make a will save to prevent a foe from scrying any information other than the information available in the 1st round (presense of being, position, and movement).

Round Result
1st Detect how many beings are in the vicinity, and their general motions (position and movement of their center).
3rd At this time, you can then tell approximately what size the target is, and the basic species.
5th Five rounds of study let you determine more precise movements of the target
7th After seven rounds, you can tell the equipment the target has, so long as they are not concealed by another object.
10th After this long period of focus and study, you can tell as much about a person as if you were looking right at them from only a few meters away.

Each round after the third you can focus on a different target, starting as if you were already at the second round. Magical inhibitions, such as invisibility greatly hinder the spell, limiting the amount of detail available to the 5th round. The spell can penetrate barriers, but 2 feet of stone, 2 inches of common metal, a half-inch sheet of lead, or 6 feet of wood or dirt blocks it.

Arcane Focus: A small stone eye.
