You magically link your lifeforce with 1 other creature. You protect the creature with your life force. Every time the creature is damaged you take damage in her place. You can't take more then 40hp damage per round, and not more then a total of 15 per caster level. You can lower the maximum damaged you take in her place, and the maximum total damage to any amount you choose during casting.
You can never be linked to more then 3 creatures at once.
Spell works as long as you and target creature are on same plane.
Material Component: Sprinkle of holy/unholy water (50gp).
Material Focus: 2 diamonds worth 250gp that must carried by you and target creature
