The chaotic energies of the shadow plane protect you from ranged attacks made against you. Also you leave no trail, and cannot be tracked by scent. The effects of umbral warding are two-fold. Umbral warding protects you as if you were under the effects of entropic shield, and also hides your scent as if under the effects of pass without trace. This is a supernatural ability.
