Redundant Open Game Content?[edit]

Is the OGL info at the bottom of this entry redundant with the tag saying that it is OGL? Aarnott 14:19, 28 February 2007 (MST)

Good question. Yes and no. The tag is actually generated by the template for the message at the bottom. They fulfill different functions. The warnings are to make very explicit to humans (redundantly so) that an entry is OGL. Tags are for categorizing and being able to find all the OGL material. --Dmilewski 06:08, 1 March 2007 (MST)
Question: Why does it have "This material is Open Game Content, and is licensed for public use under the terms of the Open Game License v1.0a. " and Template:OGL Bottom? --Green Dragon 16:14, 1 March 2007 (MST)
