This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Aside from the conceptual problem that not many weapons actually have a hand guard, it would seem to be better to take other feats that improve damage.
You can help D&D Wiki by better balancing the mechanics of this page. When the mechanics have been changed so that this template is no longer applicable please remove this template. If you do not understand balance please leave comments on this page's talk page before making any edits.

Guarded Fist [General, Fighter]
Attack with your hand guard.
Benefit: When you score a critical hit with a weapon for which you have Weapon Focus, you deal an additional 1d3 damage. This extra damage is not multiplied by the weapon's critical multiplier. The extra damage is from the hand guard smacking into the opponent along with the weapon's damage.
Special: A fighter may select Guarded Fist as one of his fighter bonus feats.
