Turn Immunity. The aegislash is immune to effects that turn undead.

False Appearance. While the aegislash remains motionless, it is indistinguishable from a normal sword and shield.

Stance Change. At the start of its turn, the aegislash transitions into blade form and has advantage on all attack rolls while in this form. At the end of its turn, the aegislash transitions into shield form and attack rolls against it have disadvantage while in this form.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The aegislash makes two greatsword attacks and one shield bash attack.

Greatsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 11 (2d6 + 4) slashing damage.

Shield Bash. Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d4 + 4) bludgeoning damage, and if the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 15 Strength saving throw or fall prone.

The aegislash's existance is a strange balance, always shifting between offense and defense where necessary, as if controlled by some master hoplite. It is unclear exactly how a doublade evolves into an aegislash, but some believe it has to do with the possessing spirit inside the weapons.
