Musk Ox Minotaurs

"An arctic variant of the labyrinth dwelling Minotaur race, these strong and thick-furred people tend to keep to their own. From personal experience, I'd not suggest petting their coats, however fluffy they may seem." -Cronshak the Handless

They host ram-like horns off the lower side of their head, a thick cloak of fur of varied dark colouration, cleft satyr like feet, and the muscular build of their aforementioned cousins. They are expected to be over 6 and a half feet, with the tallest recorded being nine foot seven. They have powerful, muscular builds, but are leaner than their cousins.

Musk Ox Minotaur Names

Following very closely to the names of their heritage, their names are usually derived from Giant or Abyssal Tongues.

Male: Asteron, Bjorkus, Codrus, Foostus, Goeban, Jak, Minron, Noostoron, Podrus, Terios
Female: Duula, Esteru, Hester, Kuonu, Loodra, Oestra, Raastred, Seestra, Uovana, Weoren

Musk Ox Minotaur Traits

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution score increases by 1 and your Dexterity score increases by 1.

Then choose one of the following and add 1 to it, Wisdom, Dexterity, or Strength.
Age. They age similarly to humans until 18, and then slowly progress dying around the age of 160
Alignment. Musk Ox Minotaurs tend strongly towards neutral alignments
Size. Minotaurs are much larger than most races, easily reaching nine feet of height and 450lb at maturity. Your size is large.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 35 feet.

Minotaur Charge. When you take the Dash action on your turn, you can use your bonus action to make one melee attack using a weapon that you are proficient with.
Natural Bounder. When jumping, you can both jump 1.5 times your movement speed, and utilize the "running jump" distance without moving prior.
Thick Fur. Your thick fur and the cold climate your people have lived for generations have given you a resistance to cold damage, and cold climates.
Powerful Build. When determining your carry weight, determine it as if your Strength score was 3 points higher.
