Shadow Blade of the War Mage (5e Equipment)

Wand, very rare (requires attunement) From the depths of what is only assumed to be an abyss of some kind, this sword radiates living energy. Although the blade itself is not sentient, whatever made it seems to be a being of pure shadow. Whether it's intentions in making this blade were evil or not is left up to debate. Although the sword appears to be a weapon, it is made out of glass, only made to conduct spells. If it is actually used to attack a creature in melee, it will shatter on contact. When attuned to this sword, you gain a +2 to attack and damage rolls of spells, and and a +2 to spell DCs. While attuning to this weapon, you must make a DC 16 Charisma saving throw or take 5d10 psychic damage, due to the blade's volatile nature.
