Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the dragon fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Advanced Flight Maneuvers. While the adult feather dragon is flying, it cannot be grappled or restrained and gains advantage on all Dexterity saving throws.

Flyby. The adult feather dragon doesn't provoke opportunity attacks when it flies out of an enemy's reach.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The dragon can use its Joyful Presence. It then makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its talons.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (2d10 + 8) piercing damage plus 7 (2d6) wind damage.

Talon. Melee Weapon Attack: +14 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 15 (2d6 + 8) slashing damage.

Joyful Presence. Each creature of the dragon's choice that is within 120 feet of the dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 19 Wisdom saving throw or become charmed for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the dragon's Joyful Presence for the next 24 hours.

Tornado Breath. The dragon exhales wind in a 60-foot cone. The winds move so quickly that they are capable of leveling buildings in an instant. Each creature in that area must make a DC 21 Dexterity saving throw, taking 63 (18d6) wind damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creature that fail the saving throw are thrown backwards in an 100-foot line from the dragon, or half the distance on a successful save.

LEGENDARY ACTIONS

The Adult Feather Dragon can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. The Adult Feather Dragon regains spent legendary actions at the start of its turn.

Detect. The dragon makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.

Talon Attack. The dragon makes a talon attack.

Wing Attack (Costs 2 Actions). The dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 15 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 22 Dexterity saving throw or take 15 (2d6 + 8) bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed.

Adult Feather Dragons are a rare species of dragon common throughout the Elemental Plane of Air. Their feathered wings take them at speeds faster than any other species of dragon, and their beak-like muzzle gives them an avian appearance. Surprisingly, they are as joyful and kind-hearted as metallic dragons, often resembling small songbirds in personality. They are happiest when they occupy the sky, cutting through the air like a modern jet plane. See Dragons (5e Creature) for more information on the Feather Dragon.
