Medium beast, unaligned Armor Class 14 (natural armor)
Saving Throws Dexterity +4 Hold Breath. The alligator can hold its breath for 15 minutes. ACTIONSBite. Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8 + 2) piercing damage. On a hit, the target must succeed on a DC 10 Dexterity or Strength saving throw or be restrained.

Alligators are massive reptiles with razor-sharp teeth. Unlike their larger counterparts, crocodiles, they rely on dexterity to capture and kill their prey. They normally wait underwater until the victim gets close, and latch on, immobilizing the target. Repeating until either it is dead or the creature. Found majorly in swamps and the occasional forest lakes, easily beaten and relatively unfeared by the population. |
