Sometimes, when a gnoll performs some particularly audacious feat in combat, images of Yeenoghu enter its dreams and offer great power in exchange for all of the gnoll's teeth. Should the gnoll accept and remove all of its teeth by hand, new, vicious fangs fill its mouth, and its mind is filled with thoughts of unimaginable barbarism and savagery, gaining the title of soul feaster among its kin. It is said that whatever a soul feaster consumes is deposited into Yeenoghu's realm, and that it gains sustenance by feeding on the souls of its victims. |
