Boon of Wish Proficiency[edit]

This boon can be awarded to a character who has suffered from the stress of a wish spell.

When you would normally suffer from the stress associated with a wish spell you can instead roll a Constitution saving throw, equal to your spell save DC. On a successful save you will not suffer the full effects of the stress, instead each time you Cast a Spell until you finish a Long Rest, you take 1d6 necrotic damage per level of that spell. This damage can't be reduced or prevented in any way. In addition, your Strength drops to 5, if it isn't 5 or lower already, for 1d4 days. For each of those days that you spend Resting and doing nothing more than light activity, your remaining recovery time decreases by 2 days. Finally there is a 10 percent chance that are unable to cast the wish spell ever again if you cast a spell before recovering from the stress.
