Shadow Master:

For all of you who wanted more form the Master of Shadow prestige class, I bring you the ultimate shadow casting character. The Shadow Master is a manipulator and complete controller of all that is shadow, from hordes of living shadow to bolts of dark fury, the Shadow Master will fulfill all your dark needs.

Prerequisites

Feats: Shadow Familiar, Path Focus(conjuration), Path Focus(evocation), Greater Path Focus(conjuration)

Spells: Able to cast 3rd level mysteries

Special: The character must drink from a river on the plane of shadow.

Class Features

All the following are class features of the Shadow Master :

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Shadow Masters gain no proficiency with any weapon or armor.

Shadow Skin(Ex): At 1st level your skin begins to fuse with shadow stuff, you gain a +1 deflection bonus to your AC. At 4th level this bonus increases by +1 and again at 7th.

Umbral Servant(Sp): At 1st level you can summon one medium shadow elemental that lasts for a number of hours equal to half your Shadow Master level. At 3rd level you can summon one large shadow elemental or 1d3 medium shadow elementals. At 6th level you can summon one huge shadow elemental, 1d3 large shadow elementals, or 1d6 medium shadow elementals. At 9th level you can summon one greater shadow elemental, 1d3 huge shadow elementals, 1d6 large elementals, or 1d8 medium shadow elementals. you can use this ability once per day at 1st level but this increases by 1 every 3 levels. Using this ability requires a standard action.

Focus of the Shadows(Ex): At 2nd level the power of shadow has expanded toward your mind giving any mysteries and spells with the shadow descriptor you cast a +1 to the DC. This bonus increases by +1 at 8th level.

Bolt of Shadows(Sp): At 3rd level you learn to manipulate the energy of shadows and shoot forth a bolt of it as a standard action that requires a ranged touch attack. The shadow bolt deals 1d6 points of cold damage per level of Shadow Master. The DC is a fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 class level + int. modifier).

Weapon of Dusk(Su): At 5th level any weapon you wield is treated as having the shadow striking special quality (shown on page 155 of The Tome of Magic).

Greater Bolt of Shadow(Sp): At 9th level the power of the Shadow Masters Bolt of Shadow attack is increased to 1d8 per class level. This replaces the former ability.

Dark Perfection(Ex): At 10th level the Shadow Master becomes completely infused with the plane of shadow making the Shadow Master gain the Dark Creature template (Shown on page 158 of the Tome of Magic).
