Jaor Mance (Lion Knight)
“ | Cold winds may blow,
Dark rain may fall, The dark one's shadow Fall over the land. The Jaor Mance, Awakened from sleep, United again will stand. |
” |
—Nargond, human lion knight, The unwritten legend of the lion knights. |
Long ago, a great darkness threatened to consume the world. Then rose the Lion, a great king and a mighty hero, to unite the world against the threatening evil. Of his followers, the closest were the Lion Knights. And though the tales of their valour are long since forgotten by all but the most learned scholars, still there live descendants of the old Lion Knights, and even though the whole world may forget the Lion, these proud descendants secretly maintain the honor of their heritage, and teach their sons. For it is rumored a sage once prophesied that The Lion would again rise to save the world, and from around the world, the Lion Knights will once again come, and fight beside him.
