Game Rule Components

Spells, Powers, Soulmelds, Stances, etc...

spells starting at third level, defensive stance at eleventh level.

Items

none needed (you can have them if you want, just no armor)

Progression

Starting Ability Scores (Before Racial Adjustments): highest in int, then con, then dex, as normal for a wizard. Race:Dwarf (if con is below 14) or human (con 14+). Dwarves get +2 con, and you really need the extra hitpoints at low levels, even as a fighter. If you can afford to, humans get an extra feat which allows you to develop faster.

Munchkin-Size Me

Quickened true strike and bulls strength go a long way.

Limitations

You're basically a wizard with fighter levels. You can attack things with a sword or use magic, but you are slightly weaker than a fighter or wizard of the same level.

DM Counters

None needed. This is far from overpowered.
