Services[edit]

GP Limit 459 GP (this applies to all services)

Aliartis, Scroll Scriber

Sells 3 random minor scrolls at a 1,459 gp limit. Aliartis is a 6th level good Cleric, so his scrolls should represent his abilities.

Fish Market

Trade goods can be sold here. Fish are sold here.

White Water Manor

Located on the river edge beside a waterfall. Lodging is pricey (4gp per night), but the service is very good. The tavern below contains potential hirelings, but they will almost always be LN, NG, or LG. Provides up to 5 hirelings (maximum level 4).

Organizations[edit]

Dartmouth's Raiders

With a lack of any Imperial protection in Mausque besides a couple stationed soldiers, raiders have taken to bullying money out of the town. Dartmouth often leads his raiders (bands of Orcs and Lizardfolk) into the town to gather up supplies and occasionally women. Dartmouth and his raiders are responsible for many of the Half-Orc offspring in the town. Dartmouth himself is reputed to be one of the old commanders of Ophion's army and apparently holds very bad blood towards the dragon's abandonment of the Lizardfolk in Sapparizan.

Cult of Verthimax

Though Mausque is a small town and has a small population that remains generally lawful and good, there exists a small group among the population that worship the red dragon Verthimax. The cult is headed by the Dragon Shaman Sedutera, an Allurin. She tends to recruit teenagers using her innate charming abilities and has been successful in the recruitment of 15 members (both male and female). The Cult of Verthimax is a secret group and cannot be discovered without at least a DC 25 Bardic Knowledge check, a DC 30 Gather Information check, or prying information from one of the members.

Notable NPCs[edit]

Adventure Hooks[edit]

Adventure hooks are divided into three categories: working with an organization (lawful), working with an individual or on one's own accord (neutral), and working against local organized powers (chaotic).
