Way of the Passive Hand

Monk Subclass

A Bandit dashes toward the lone man, axe in hand, preparing to strike. With a quick flurry, the man pushes the Bandits arm away and lands a blow to his jawline, knocking him prone.

Passive Stance

At 3rd level, you can use a bonus action to shift into a Passive Stance. Until the start of your next turn, if you are attacked within your unarmed attack's range, you can use your reaction to reduce the damage by 1d10 + your Dexterity modifier + your monk level. If you can reduce the damage to 0, you may spend 1 ki point to make an immediate unarmed melee attack.

Equal Coverage

At 6th level, immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 2 ki points to make three unarmed strikes as a bonus action. Each extra attack cannot target a creature you have hit this turn.

Heightened Movement

At 11th, as an action, you can spend 4 ki points to cast haste on yourself, without any material components, for a duration of 2 rounds. Until the spell ends, you may spend 4 ki points to increase the duration by 2 rounds.

Aiding Strike

At 17th level, you catch a creature off guard. When a creature within 5 ft. of you is hit by a creature other than you, you can use a reaction to make an unarmed strike against them.
