The toad mother appears as a bloated, hideous human female. Toad mothers have great knowledge of the arcane and have a reputation as witches and healers. They are selfish and arrogant, but not always hostile. Some toad mothers live in swamps near human communities and sell potions and herbs. They have a natural affinity for toads and frogs. These toads roam the area around the toad mother's home in large numbers and will grow larger than common toads. Known to few, a toad mother can transform into a monstrous bloated toad herself.
