Advancement
Pounce If a havoc brute leaps upon a foe during the first round of combat, it can make a full attack even if it has already taken a move action.
Rake A havoc brute can make two attacks (+66 melee) against a held creature with its legs for 3d6+13 points of Damage each. If the havoc brute pounces on an opponent, it can also rake.
Improved Grab If a havoc brute hits an opponent that is at least one size category smaller than itself with a claw attack, it deals normal damage and attempts to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. If it gets a hold, it can rake. Alternatively, it has the option to conduct the grapple normally, or simply use its claw to hold the opponent (–20 penalty on grapple check, but the havoc brute is not considered grappled). In either case, each successful grapple check it makes during successive rounds automatically deals claw damage.
Rend A havoc brute that hits with both claw attacks latches onto the opponent’s body and tears the flesh. This automatically deals 6d6+52 damage.
Charm Gaze A havoc brute can charm humanoid or monstrous humanoid opponents just by looking into their eyes. This is similar to a gaze attack, except that the havoc brute must use a standard action, and those merely looking at the havoc brute are not affected. Any the havoc brute targets must make a successful DC 53 Will save or fall under the havoc brute's influence as though affected by a charm monster spell at a caster level of 61. Any creature that successfully saves against a havoc brute's charm gaze cannot be affected by that havoc brute's charm gaze for 24 hours. This ability has a range of 30 feet.
Bile of Hatred Once every 1d4 rounds, a havoc brute can spew acidic bile in a 30-foot cone as a standard action. Every creature in the area takes 61d4 points of acid damage. A successful DC 44 Reflex save halves this damage.
Ghoul Fever Disease—bite, DC 53 Fortitude save, incubation period 1 day, damage 1d3 Con and 1d3 Dex. An afflicted humanoid who dies of ghoul fever rises as a ghoul at the next midnight. A humanoid who becomes a ghoul in this way retains none of the abilities it possessed in life. It is not under the control of any other ghouls, but it hungers for the flesh of the living and behaves like a normal ghoul in all respects. A humanoid of 4 HD or higher rises as a ghast, rather than a ghoul.
Paralysis Victims hit by a havoc brute's bite or claw attack must make a successful DC 53 Fortitude save or be paralyzed for 1d4+1 rounds.
Alternate Form A havoc brute can assume the form of a legendary tiger. It does not assume the ability scores of the legendary tiger, but instead adds the legendary tiger’s physical ability score modifiers to its own ability scores. A havoc brute also can assume a bipedal hybrid form with prehensile hands and animalistic features. Changing to or from legendary tiger or hybrid form is a standard action. A slain havoc brute reverts to its normal form, although it remains dead. Separated body parts retain their legendary tiger form, however.
Lycanthopic Empathy In any form, havoc brutes can communicate and empathize with tigers, dire tigers, and legendary tigers**. This gives them a +4 racial bonus on checks when influencing the animal’s attitude and allows the communication of simple concepts and (if the animal is friendly) commands, such as “friend,” “foe,” “flee,” and “attack.”
Wide Vision Because of its multiple eyes and wide angle of vision, a havoc brute has a +4 racial bonus on Spot checks and cannot be flanked.
Spell Absorption Whenever a spell fails to penetrate a havoc brute's spell resistance, the havoc brute gains one of the following brutes, chosen at the time that the spell resolves

Might: The havoc brute gains a +4 enhancement bonus to Strength for 1 minute.
Agility: The havoc brute gains a +4 enhancement bonus to Dexterity for 1 minute.
Endurance: The havoc brute gains a +4 enhancement bonus to Dexterity for 1 minute.
Life: The havoc brute gains temporary hitpoints equal to 5 × the level of the failed spell.
Speed: The havoc brute's base speed increases by a number of feet equal to 5 × the level of the failed spell.
Resistance: The havoc brute gains resistance 10 to one energy type (acid, cold, electricity, fire, or sonic).

Twisted Mind A havoc brute's mind is demented and difficult to control. If the havoc brute fails its saving throw against a mind-affecting spell or effect, it can attempt to save again 1 round later at the same DC. The havoc brute gets only this one extra chance to succeed on its saving throw.

*This creature gains flight from both the winged template and the half-dragon template. Since there are no rules on gaining flight from multiple sources, this creature may be arbitrarily assigned 120 ft. (average), 100 ft. (perfect), or any combination of the two.
**Taking the lycanthrope rules by rote, the havoc brute would only be able to communicate with two of the three (which of the two it is would vary depending on interpretation). I thought it would be reasonable to permit all three.
