Minion (5e Template)
From D&D Wiki
Minion
Meant to replicate the 4e minion monster role, minions focus on quantity over quality. They specialize in disposable, front-line combat and group in large numbers to overwhelm the player characters. They're vulnerable to just about everything and are usually encountered in large groups.
- Prerequisite
Any creature, hereafter referred to as the "base creature."
Statistics
Hit Points. The minion has only 1 hit point.
Traits
Resilience. A missed attack never damages the minion. Additionally, if the minion is subjected to an effect that allows it to make a saving throw to take only half damage, the minion instead takes no damage on a successful save.
CR Calculation
A minion is worth one-tenth the experience of the base creature (round down).
