Illithid Mind Prowess

Prerequisites: You must be an illithid.
You have trained intensely, and have managed to recover a portion of your advanced mental abilities even in the absence of the networked communal intelligence. You learn the mage hand cantrip, which can cast at will and is invisible. You also learn the detect thoughts and levitate spells, each of which you can cast once without expending a spell slot. You regain the ability to cast these two spells in this way when you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for all three spells.

In addition, when you use your Devour Brain racial trait to consume the brain of a creature with a Intelligence score of 13 or higher, you regain use of your ability to cast these two spells, as if you had taken a long rest.
