Saving Throws Str +12 Trampling Charge. If the elephant moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a gore attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 18 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the elephant can make one stomp attack against it as a bonus action. ACTIONSMultiattack. The elephant makes two attacks: two stomp attacks or one gore attack and one stomp attack. Gore. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 31 (5d8 + 9) piercing damage. Stomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 36 (5d10 + 9) bludgeoning damage.

The straight-tusked elephant is a behemoth even among its kin. Known to the scholarly as palaeoloxodon, the straight-tusked elephant inhabits vast grasslands scouring them for food. These goliaths fight using their massive girth and long tusks. Many experts say they are the largest natural mammal on land. |
