Large beast, chaotic neutral Armor Class 15
Saving Throws Dexterity +6 Hold Breath: The Alligator can hold its breath for 30 Minutes. ACTIONSMultiattack The Alligator makes two attacks. One with its bite and then a tail attack. Bite: Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (5d4 + 5) Piercing damage. DC 14 Dexterity or Strength or restrained. Tail Slam Melee Weapon Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 12 (2d6 + 5) Bludgeoning damage. DC Dexterity or Strength 16, or knocked prone.

The giant alligators are massive reptilians with razer sharp teeth. Unlike their larger counterparts, Crocodiles, they relay on Dexterity capture and kill their pray. Normally waiting underwater until the victim gets close, and latching on, immobilizing the target. If that doesn't work they bring their large tail down onto the creature, and repeat until either it is dead or the creature. Found majorly in swamps and the occasional forest lakes, they are fetched at high price, but then again, so is your life. |
