Material (5e Skill)

Material. Also known as knowledge material or materia, this skill measures your knowledge of the material world. A character might make an Intelligence (Material) check to determine such things as the composition of an object, where the weakest points of a structure are for the most effective placement of explosives, the reaction that might take place if two chemicals are combined, or the function of a mechanical device.
