Ground hawks, also called dakotaraptor by scholars, are predatory dinosaurs that hunt in packs and leap onto prey, tearing it apart with their vicious claws. Some very experienced peoples have managed to tame these creatures as mounts and companions, but as such beast are rare and savage, this doesn't happen often. Parents are fiercely protective of eggs and chicks, and many foolish "adventurers" have died trying to get some. |
