Elves

This is a set of variant Elf rules, representing them as immortal beings of untold Beauty.

Personality

Elves are a merry people who love to laugh and dance and sing. They are immortal, and so the wisest among them can remember events an age or more ago. They have a sad history, and because of their immortality, they must endure the sorrows of their past. When their woodland homes and fair cities are threatened by war, they show amazing skill in battle with sword, bow, and spear. Elves are slow to extremities of emotion, but when they reach said stage, they feel emotions far stronger than humans do.

Physical Description

Elves are slightly shorter than humans. They have perfect skin unable to hold a scar, and strongly colored eyes (generally blue or green), with beautiful black, brown and blonde hair, with copper red hair being rare among them (most commonly in elf women). Elves are impossibly graceful, able to enchant mortals with their beauty. Their teeth will never fall out or rot it runs in the whole spectrum.

Relations

Elves are somewhat detached from other sentient beings, preferring to sing and dance together in hidden glades or in their fair halls. Few mortals ever glance an elf, for they do not visit others often, and rarely leave their golden cities or fair woodlands. When angered, elves march to war in wrath, with men at their side, slaughtering all evil creatures which dare get in their way, with stunning military skill and efficiency.

Alignment

Elves are always Good or Neutral, tending towards the Chaotic side.

Lands

Elves live in beautiful woodlands and fair cities.

Religion

Elves worship Corellon Larethian, Patron God of the Elves, above all other Deities.

Language

Elves speak elven and Sylvan, an intricate language full of subtle intonations. It is a fair language, and wondrously beautiful in songs.

At birth, an elf is given a name in elven that generally reflect how the elf's parents see in the child.
