Necrotic Poison. The sheolisk produces venom in its claws and teeth that causes flesh to quickly rot. Should a living creature be wounded by a sheolisk, it must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or take 8 (2d6) necrotic damage and be poisoned. At the start of each of its turns, the victim must repeat the saving throw or take another 8 (2d6) necrotic damage, or half as much on a success. After succeeding three times, the effect of the poison ends. A Sheolisk is immune to the effects of its own or another sheolisk's poison.

Innate Spellcasting The Sheolisk's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 15). The sheolisk can cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

At will: true strike
3/day: animate dead, suggestion
1/day: blood rain

ACTIONS

Multiattack. The sheolisk makes two attacks with its claws.

Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 10 (2d6 + 3) slashing damage.

These demons appear as black carapaced humanoids (some masculine, some feminine), with heads that resembles the skulls of bulls, and tails covered in short spikes. They possess innate necromantic powers and they produce necrotic venom, perfect for their diet of rotting meat. Sheolisks often compete against each other, claiming territory, making (temporary) allies, and gathering as many corpses as possible to use as both food and minions.
