"The veteran makes two longsword attacks. If it has a shortsword drawn, it can also make a shortsword attack.". So, you want to say, what character can do attack with secondary light weapon, even if first weapon is not light? Like, hit someone with one-handed non-light weapon, and then with Light weapon as bonus action? 95.71.119.203 13:52, 22 October 2024 (MDT)

If i did "When you take the Attack action and attack with a light melee weapon that you're holding in one hand, you can use a bonus action to attack with a different light melee weapon that you're holding in the other hand.". So, unless i don't understand something, attacking with light melee weapon as bonus action after attacking with non-light melee weapons should be impossible. Longsword isn't light.
