Editing Instructions[edit]

In the text area at the bottom of this page, fill in the values after the equal signs, and replace the comments (the text starting with <!-- and ending with -->) with your own descriptive text.

Some of the parameters are numbered from 1 to 12 (e.g. cr1, cr2,... cr12) Each number represents a dragon age category: 1 = wyrmling, 2 = very young, 3 = young, 4 = juvenile, 5 = young adult, 6 = adult, 7 = mature adult, 8 = old, 9 = very old, 10 = ancient, 11 = wyrm, 12 = great wyrm.

Be sure to create additional category tags, to indicate Type, Subtype(s), Challenge rating and Level Adjustment to help make your creature easier to find.

The following examples use the steel dragon from an article on WotC's D&D site.

Type: Dragon (air)
Environment: Any city (rarely any hill, plain, or forest)
Organization: Wyrmling, very young, young: solitary (with humanoid companions) or clutch (2-5); juvenile, young adult, adult, mature adult, old, very old, ancient, wyrm, great wyrm: solitary (with humanoid companions)
Challenge Rating: Wyrmling 2; very young 3; young 3; juvenile 5; young adult 7; adult 8; mature adult 11; old 12; very old 13; ancient 15; wyrm 16; great wyrm 18
Treasure: Wyrmling, very young, young, juvenile, young adult: standard; adult, mature adult, old: double standard; very old, ancient, wyrm, great wyrm: triple standard
Alignment: Usually lawful neutral, often lawful good
