Ani-Men, Wolf-Man (3.5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
The Wolf-men[edit]
Personality[edit]
Quiet and unassuming, the wolf-men are a folk that think before they act. Devoted to family, the wolf-man's underlying animal nature gives him strong ties to his "pack". They defend their name and their family vigorously, especially against those who would sling mud on their names. The underlying devotion to family also gives them a strong devotion to codes and ethics. Because of this, wolf-men are probably the most unvawering in their beliefs compared to the rest of the ani-men.
Physical Description[edit]
Wolf-men are somewhat close to humans in height, standing around 5'3" to 6'1" and weighing around 140 to 150 pounds. The women are noticeably smaller and lighter. All Wolf-men have wolf-shaped heads and fine gray, white, brown, or black fur all over their bodies. The hair on their heads grows as quickly and as far that of humans.
Wolf-men have life spans comparable to the Rat-men, reaching full maturity at age 20, with most living over 200 years.
Relations[edit]
Wolf-men tend to live secluded lives, but they do like the pleasure of company. Humans are easy for them to bond with because of their human side, but they easily befriend dwarves, viewing each race with an odd sense of common ground.
Alignment[edit]
Wolf-men are almost always lawful. Their strong ties to family and devotion to any endeavor they pursue makes them receptive to and appreciative of law. Wolf-men care nothing about morality, showing concern only for those close to them, but not all others.
Lands[edit]
Wolf-men do not have any lands of their own. Nonethless, large families of wolf-men are likely to be found together in various areas of a city. In fact, it is not uncommon for ALL wolf-men to live with each other. The monasteries are also popular areas as many fighting wolf-men take the life of a monk.
Religion[edit]
Wolf-men do not care much for religion. Devotion to the family is more important than devotion to a god. If they do worship a god, however, St. Cuthbert's philosophy appeals greatly to the wolf-men.
Language[edit]
Wolf men know and speak Common and Elven. It is never a surprise they can speak a third languages, and they have a wide assortment of choices when doing so.

Like with all the ani-men, wolf-men are human in name.
