Path of the Totem Warrior, Sloth[edit]

This is an expansion of the Totem Warrior subclass, giving additional options for a sloth totem.

Sloths, as their name may indicate, are creature of simple pleasures. They eat, they sleep, they scratch, they sleep some more. The way of the sloth is that of conservation. Relax, be calm, move slowly, so that you may use your energy when it truly matters. You can tap into their soul to know this peace. But, if this peace is interrupted, your rage will be all the more vicious. At the very least, you are certainly not a morning person.

Totem Spirit[edit]

At 3rd level you pick your first totem.

  • Sloth: While raging, at the start of each turn, you may choose to decrease your movement speed by an amount of your choice. Your melee weapon attacks then deal a bonus 1d4 slashing damage for each 15 feet of movement you forgoe. This becomes 1d6 at 10th level. This decrease is then undone at the end of the turn. The spirit of the sloth helps you prioritize your power.

Aspect of the Beast[edit]

At 6th level you gain yet another path option.

  • Sloth: You gain a climbing speed equal to your movement speed. You may take a long or short rest while hanging from an elevated surface. If you regain hit points at the end of a short rest by spending one or more Hit Dice, the amount of hit points is doubled. Additionally, you regain 1 use of rage at the end of a short rest.

Totemic Attunement[edit]

At 14th level you arrive at the final steps of your primal soul searching; here you chose a final totem.

  • Sloth: While raging, you become Large, along with anything you are wearing. Your melee weapon attack reach increases by 5 feet and they deal a bonus 1d4 bludgeoning damage. Additionally, your movement speed increases by 10 feet. You have tapped into the ancient spirits of the sloth's mighty ancestor, whose towering might is now yours.
