Talk:Forge Gauntlet (3.5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
Commentary[edit]
I'm gathering my thoughts about magic gauntlets; I'm not done entering them yet.
Each magic gauntlet should be on its own item page, and that's eventually what I plan to do and then link from here to the various magic gauntlets as examples.
I will update this when I'm done / finished with the entry & sample creation.
Comments more than welcome.
Also intended is a variant rule page (Alternate Magic Item creation feats) where I discuss why these feats would be useful and how they might be used in a game to provide two or three different cultures with their own unique style of magic, but that will happen after I get all the alternate item creation feats entered (there are several more beyond this and the alternate scribe scroll effects). - I Will probably add gauntlets as time permits. I've got a number of attack/defense type gauntlets ready to post in the sense of costed/designed, but I'm not sure I see a point as they're pretty standard weapons. Is it worth posting something like a ‘this gauntlet grants a +1 enhancement to a held weapon’ kind of thing? It seems too obvious to bother with, so I thought I'd just do the ‘specific gauntlets’ that extend the rules a bit. Roszlishan 23:30, 11 December 2007 (MST)
