Hey, shouldn't the Child template also make note of the "cute" factor with a charisma boost? Children of other species/races are often extra appealing, when they're not instead extra tasty-looking.

This page needs cats. I'm not sure how we've been doing cats for templates. Does someone wanna fix this up real quick? --EldritchNumen 00:56, 20 February 2007 (MST)

Looks like you already got it. However, this still needs to be wikified... --Green Dragon 16:33, 3 March 2007 (MST)

There are rules for the base classes being level 0.5 in the DMG in regards to multi-classing at level one. I would assume that is would be similar for a younger character who perhaps has not completed training. I can't recall where I saw it, but I believe intelligent creatures with fractional HD simply replace it with class HD although they are treated as having 1 HD before the application of a class.

With the removal (in July 2013) of the -3 penalty to Con and reducing the penalty to Strength to -2 (-4 total), is this still worth CR -3? Given how long its been without any complaint...either others agree or no one uses this template.

I missed how much more had changed. -1 Dex and -1 Cha became +2 Dex and +2 Cha.
This seems like a very drastic change. From -5 Str, -3 Con, -1 Dex, -1 Int, -1 Wis, -1 Cha [total -11] to -4 Str, -1 Int, -1 Wis, +2 Dex, +2 Cha [total -2]. It no longer seems reasonable to balance this template with a CR -3.
