A mortal who has become immortal because of accumulated souls.
When large amounts of people die at a similar time, the souls of the departed sometimes converse together, losing all individuality. Even more rarely, these souls descend on an unwilling mortal, giving him incomprehensible power.
Creating a soulmerged:[edit]
This is an acquired template that can only be gained by a living creature that possesses a soul.
Size and Type[edit]
No changes to size. Type changes to outsider (Native).
Hit Dice[edit]
Base HD of all levels increases to d12.
Speed[edit]
Creatures base speed increases by 15', and gains a climb speed equal to half it's current speed.
Armor Class[edit]
Gains a +4 insight bonus to AC (deflection)
Attack[edit]
Gains a +4 insight bonus to the attacks of manufactured and natural weapons.
Special Attacks[edit]
If any enemy is killed by a melee attack, then the soulmerged gains 1 temporary hit point for each HD the target had.
Special Qualities[edit]
The soulmerged gains Regeneration 20/-, Immunity to diseases, poisons, critical hits, negative levels, mind affecting spells, but still needs to eat, sleep and breathe.
Abilities[edit]
+4 Str, +4 Con, +4 Dex, +4 Cha.
Skills[edit]
None.
Feats[edit]
None.
Environment[edit]
Soulmerged typically start on sites of mass slaughter, but they move to either solitary locations to get out the way, or to busy cities help or hinder the locals, depending on their alignment.
Organization[edit]
They can come from any society.
Challenge Rating[edit]
Challenge rating +2
Treasure[edit]
They do not usually carry anything with them, but they may have a set of enchanted robes or a weapon.
Alignment[edit]
Any alignment.
Advancement[edit]
By Character Class.
Level Adjustment[edit]
