Selatrop[edit]

Ancient Writings: The Great Goddess is without a doubt the oldest divine entity along with The Great Dragon. The Great Goddess is the personification of Wakfu: the creative energy.

Selatropes are a race that are not native to the World of Twelve and do not worship the same gods as humans, but have a human appearance. Their most recognizable characteristic is the large hat worn by every individual, presumably to hide the one non-human feature that is visible on their heads. All of the hats have two "ear-like" extensions of varying sizes and shapes, that have been shown to move based on an Selatrope's emotions, which has led most people to expect horns or an additional pair of ears.

Physical Description[edit]

Selatropes are a race from beyond the stars. But despite that, they look very similar to humans. Some more than others, admittedly. Their skin color ranges from tanned to extremely pale and the more devoted of them often adorn themselves with runic tattoos on their bodies, even on their faces. Their hair is often a pale, greyish blue, but any human hair color has been seen on them.

History[edit]

Appearing by a strange accident, the Selatrops are the reflection of their creator, the God-King. They move at the speed of light, disappearing in the blink of an eye only to reappear later in another location. Like Selatrops, Selotrops know the secrets of Wakfu.

Society[edit]

Their society is very rare to find and to this day no one has managed to find it. Many say that their society is based on an evolution that is completely more advanced than all other races within the vast universe.

Selatrop Traits[edit]

The Selatropes are hard to keep track of due to their portals. They always seem to know when to disappear and where to pop up next.
Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 2 and other score at your choice increases by 1.
Age. It is unknown how old Selatrops can get due to them being mysterious. It is difficult to know if any Selatrope died of old age, they must be very very durable.
Alignment. Most tend towards Good alignements though ones that do become Evil are a force to fear.
Size. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30ft.
Keep Them On Their Toes. Selatrops learn to use their portals to move around at a young age. As a bonus action or reaction, you can magically teleport up to 30 feet in any direction to an unoccupied space you can see. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency per short or long rest. You do not suffer attacks of opportunity when using this ability.Alternatively, you can use your bonus action to create a force blast attack against targets within 20 feet and 5 feet wide of you. All creatures within this line must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d8 force damage or half as much on a success. This damage increases by 2d8 (4th level), 3d8 (8th level), 4d8 (14th level), and 5d8 (19th level) for each level reached.
Inherent. Due to their intrinsic connection to wakfu and the great creator goddess, Selatrops perceive the intentions of those around them better than anyone else. You are proficient in the Insight skill.
Wakfu Sense. As a Selatrop, your handling of wakfu can be more refined than anyone else. Whenever you make any skill check in order to control, understand, or learn information about wakfu, you have advantage. (Wakfu is meant as the energy of creation; a druid, bard, or wizard tends to use this magic.)
Wakfu Vision. Through rigorous training, Selatrops can perceive wakfu through their eyes. As an action, make a Perception skill check superior or equal to 13, if successful, you enter a Concentration state lasting 1 minute, during which you can see the wakfu within a 120-foot radius. (Follow the Concentration rules). This ability works like the Detect Magic spell, so it is limited to detecting only creatures with the ability to cast spells (such as a Druid or a Wizard) and magical artifacts. You can attempt to enter this state a number of times equal to your proficiency. You can repeat the skill check immediately after a failure if you still have uses left.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Selatrop.
