Perfect Performer[edit]

The best of the best.

Making a Perfect Performer[edit]

There are Bards, and then there are Perfect Performers.

The best performers do so under great stress. Although their music is better than that of a bard, it has a chance of failure due to the reputation that precedes the performer. However, a wide range of effects are represented by his music.

Abilities[edit]

The most important attributes for this class are charisma and dexterity. The spellcasting of his class derives its bonuses from charisma and dexterity is needed for skills and abilities.

Races[edit]

Any race may become a candidate for this class, although races with high charisma tend to be more successful.

Alignment[edit]

Any.

Performance (Ex)[edit]

At 1st level, the performer can inspire his allies to perform greater feats of combat. A successful performance check of 15 grants all allies within 30 feet a +2 bonus to all saving throws, damage, and attacks. The user may increase the DC by intervals of five to increase the bonuses by +1. If he fails, his allies are brought to despair, and suffer minuses in place of bonuses. The performer may not use this ability for 24 hrs after failing. There is no other limit to the amount of times this ability can be used a day. It lasts as long as his singing continues and for 4 rounds plus his or her Cha modifier after he stops. It is a standard action to start singing, and it does not provoke attacks of opportunity.

Inspire Awe (Ex)[edit]

A successful performance check of 10 + the creature's level will put the target in a state of awe if they fail a Will save of 10 +(the performers cha modifier + level). They will take no actions against the performer unless provoked. This ability has a range of 30 ft. The ability can affect up to 2 plus (the performer's level + the Cha Modifier x 2). The ability lasts as long as the performer sings and last 3 rounds after he stops. Inspire Awe is useable once time at level one, twice at level seven, and three times at level fourteen. If the performer fails the check, the subjects can chose to enter a rage as a barbarian and will become hostile toward the preformer.

Costume (Ex)[edit]

The Performer can craft costumes with a successful Craft(Costumes) check. For every 500gp invested in the costume, they add +1 to their preform check. They can add up to a maximum of +10 with an elaborate costume. An armor worn must be incorporated into the costume adding 100gp per point of armor bonus added.

Overwhelming Song (Ex)[edit]

This ability increases the range of all songs to 100 feet.

Inspire Rage (Ex)[edit]

This ability inspires all allies within 100 feet to enter a rage as a barbarian. The performer must make a perform check of 15 + the allies' level. Inspire rage lasts as long the the performs sings and will persist for 3 round + the performers charisma modifier after he stops singing. Allies can choose whether not to enter the rage. A perfect performer can use this ability once per day at level five and twice per day at level twelve. If the performer fails the check, the allies will become exhausted from the ability.

Alter Self (Sp)[edit]

This ability works as the spell cast the performer's level. It is use able one time per day.

Songwriter (Ex)[edit]

The Performer gains the scribe scroll feat, but the scrolls he creates can only be used by Perfect Performers.

Wild-Shape (Su)[edit]

He or she can wild-shape into any animal of medium or small size once per day at level ten and becomes usable at will at level eighteen.

Charming Song (Su)[edit]

The performer can make a perform check of 20 + (the creatures level) to charm his listeners. Any creature under the effects of Inspire Awe who hears this song will will have to make a will save of 15 + (performers cha modifier + level) or become under the effects of Charm Monster. The effect only last as long the the performer sings. If the performer fails the perform check the subjects may enter a greater rage (as the barbarians) and will become hostile toward the performer.

Fame (Ex)[edit]

Any performances gives the performer 10x the normal amount of money he would normally receive.

Prestidigitation (Ex)[edit]

You may cast Prestidigitation at will to improve your performance as a free action giving you a +3 bonus to all perform checks.

Stage Presence (Ex)[edit]

You may now add your charisma modifier to all attack and damage rolls and as a reduction of armor check penalty while singing by making a perform check of 25.
