<Lunarborn>[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Lunarborn creatures back then did not entail one specific race, it could be described as creatures all over bearing resemblance to the moon in their eyes and clothes. But in most realms today, their numbers in animals and non sentient creatures have dwindled and not many remain. Humanoid Lunarborn florish in all planes and bear a crescent moon on the backs of their hands, foreheads, and stomachs. Their eyes appear to glow in the dark of the night and are said to change to fit whatever cycle the current moon is under now. They have light blue skin and some even bear blotches of darker blues. This is for typical Lunarborn, those born under a normal moon or during the day. Lunarborn born under, per say, a blood moon, have seemingly blood red eyes, pale red skin, these vary from bloodline to bloodline though and can even be carried down bloodlines with the right set of genes as they tend to be recessive.

History[edit]

Lunarborn are said to have come from an entirely different unknown upperplane of existence for a multitude of reasons ranging from punishments from gods or a war that drove out many who did not want to be involved in it. Nobody knows the specifics as it happened a millennium ago. The current Lunarborn are drastically different and weaker in terms of magical abilities. Many are said to have been on the Ethereal Plane longer than mankind has been there themself.

Society[edit]

Lunarborn typically live in or are born in the kingdom of Moons. A kingdom ruled by King Aster the first and where many reside. They are typically not social with other races and some even to constantly think of themselves as the ultimately stronger and better race than per say and elf or dwarf. Though many younger Lunarborn tend to break these stereotypical beliefs by living and socializing with other races. Lunarborn tend to choose to work and create and invent 24/7 as they are capable of surviving without important essentials like food and water and sleep. This makes many often cold at first as their way of life has often caused them to be labeled as 'selfish' or 'emotionless'.
