Gorilla Gillian (Soul Society Supplement)
Gorilla Gillian[edit]
Gargantuan undead (Hollow), chaotic evil Armor Class 15 (Unarmored Defense)
Saving Throws Str +10, Con +10 Reiryoku. The Gorilla Gillian has 50 reiryoku. Whenever they use reiryoku, it is spent. They regain all reiryoku at the end of a short or long rest. Siege Monster. The Gorilla Hollow deals twice as much damage to objects and structures. Reiatsu-Empowered Strikes. The Gorilla Hollow attacks are considered magical. Spiritual Algamation. The Gorilla Gillian has advantage on saving throws against effects that would affect its soul, such as the soul cage spell. Soul Devourer. Whenever the Gorilla Gillian reduces a creature in Soul form to 0 hit points, they may choose to devour them, regaining 20 reiryoku and hit points. These Reiryoku and hit points cannot pass their maximum. They can also devour the corpse of a soul who died at max one minute ago. When a soul is devoured this way, they are killed outright and cannot be revived unless you are killed by a zanpakuto. Soul Separator. As part of hitting a creature that's not on soul form, they can spend 2 reiryoku to separate their soul from their bodies, turning them into a Wandering Spirit for 1 minute or until they die or are knocked unconscious. This only works if the creatures' reiatsu level is lower than 1. Hollow Regeneration. The Gorilla Hollow regains 2 (1d4) hit points after every minute passed while they are in the Hueco Mundo plane. Endurance. Whatever the Gorila Hollows needs to make a Constitution saving throw, they take no damage on a success, and half of damage on a failure ACTIONSMultiattack. The Gorilla Gillian makes one Punch attack and one Greastest Stomp attack. Punch. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 22 (3d10 + 6) bludgeoning damage Greatest Stomp. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 19 (3d8 + 6) bludgeoning damage. This attack targets all creatures within 10 feet of the Gorilla. All creatures hit must make a Strength saving throw, being pushed 20 feet on a failure and 5 feet on a success. Garganta. The Gorila Gillian can spend 10 reiryoku to open a portal between dimensions, sending them to Hueco Mundo. If they do not move 5 feet or lose concentration, they are transported to any location they can visualize in Hueco Mundo or a random location on the plane, or to the last place they used Garganta, at the beginning of their next turn. If they are already within Heuco Mundo, this portal instead works as if it were the gate spell, minus that they cannot pull a creature through the gate. Cero. As an action the Gorila Gillian spends 15 Reiryoku, firing off a beam of energy in a 10 foot wide, 120 foot long line. Each creature within that area must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, they take 38 (4d8+20) force damage. On a success, they’re able to use their movement (taking from their next turn’s movement) to avoid the attack, taking half as much damage if they end their movement outside of the area. They can use movement increasing abilities that don’t cost an action or bonus action during this movement, if necessary. If a creature doesn’t have enough movement to avoid the effect, they automatically fail. If a creature has a feature that makes their successes no damage and their failures half as much, they only take no damage on a successful save, while a failed save is always full damage. The Gorilla Gillian can spend 20 extra Reiryoku to increase the power of their Cero, for every 5 reiryoku spent, they add 1d8 of damage and the width is increased by 5 at the maximum of extra 4d8+40 of force damage and 40 of width.
