Wisdom (Dreaming) (5e Skill)

Your Wisdom (Dreaming) check represents your ability to remember your dreams and interpret both your dreams and the dreams of others. You may also substitute a Wisdom (Dreaming) check for any ability check or saving throw to resist malign effects which influence your dreams. In some situations, the DM may also secretly roll a Wisdom (Dreaming) check to allow you to realize you are dreaming, although this is difficult. This skill is best used in campaigns where dreams feature prominently or otherwise have some connection to the plot, even if only as foreshadowing. As a rule, "younger" or more carefree individuals are more likely to have this skill, while "older", more serious or responsible individuals rarely have it - after all, at some point, one's inner world becomes a distraction from earthly concerns.
