5e Arcane Archer

A Sorcerer Archetype

1st Level

Bonus Proficiencies: You gain proficiency with the longbow, shortbow and light armor.

Imbue Arrow: As a bonus action you can imbue an arrow with a spell of 5th level or lower.

The imbued arrow can then be fired as a normal arrow from your bow with spell attacks hitting

with the arrow and area effects using the point of impact as the point of origin. You can use

this ability a number of times equal to 1/2 your sorcerer level rounded up. You regain uses of

this ability after a long rest.

6th Level

Arcane Archery: You learn a ritual that creates a bond between yourself and one bow. You

perform The ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a short rest. The weapon

must be within your reach throughout the ritual, at the conclusion of which you touch the weapon

and forge the bond. If it is on the same plane of existence, you can summon your bow as a bonus

action on your turn, causing it to teleport instantly to your hand. You gain the benifit of the

archery figting style and can use your spellcasting ability modifier for attack and damage rolls

with your bonded bow. You may bond with any bow you find however this breaks the bond with your

original bonded bow.

14th Level

Arcane Shot: When you draw your bonded bow with no arrow a magical arrow appears and can be shot

normally. Attacks with these arrows count as magical. In addition, when you hit a creature with an

attack from your bonded bow you may expend 2 sorcery points to add 3d8 fire, cold, lighting or acid

damage, your choice, to that attack.

18th Level

Hail of Arrows: Once per day you can make an attack with your bonded bow against a number of

creatures equal to your charisma modifier. You regain the use of this ability when you take a long

rest.
