Hellcat is exactly that - a fiend that assumes the shape of a cat. Instead of dwelling in infernal realms where it originated from, a hellcat prefers the Material Planes, especially the warm fireplace that belongs to someone too rich, arrogant, and stupid to know that the beloved Mr. Flufflebuns is actually an evil entity straight out of depth of many layers of hells.

Manipulative Mastermind. A typical hellcat pays visit to an airheaded upstart who lacks brain to catch up with their newfound fortune. At first a hellcat poses as an ordinary, adorable cat, in order to get into its new "caretaker's" place. Once it finds itself accustomed to its new shelter, the hellcat reveals its true nature, intimidating its "master" to bid its own wicked will. All this works because, no one would believe a single word if someone said that their cat made them do things.

Selfish Little Devil. Despite its appearance, a hellcat is, after all, a devil, and therefore demands a certain level of lifestyle that it claims comes as a part of its birthright. Since a hellcat is too lazy to speak to its "owner", it expresses its requirements in a crude, violent way, forcing its caretaker to prepare what is best for its little master.

Tainted by the Material Planes? A hellcat is technically a fiend and therefore does not require any corporeal desires, but as it dwells long enough in the Material Planes, part of it has grown to be attached to a certain joy of flesh. Often the joy includes a warm bowl of milk and a handful of catnip. Especially catnip.
