Sometimes, when an excessively greedy and gluttonous humanoid makes a bargain with powerful fiends for evil magic, they twist its form into that of an ogre-sized creature with a titanic maw that takes up its entire torso. Such degenerates are called cavigogs, and they only think and act to fulfil their gluttonous desires, devouring everything in sight that looks even remotely edible, and killing anything that stands in the way of food. A cavigog is constantly surrounded by the stench of death and rot, and their limbs are so bloated as to be almost entirely unusable, as they move sluggishly at best without the aid of magic, and their arms are usually only used to shovel food into their twin mouths, though a cavigog that comes to possess a magic staff or wand that it can use might wield it in one of its stocky arms. Milky-white acid spills from the edges of their colossal maws, and they can eject this acid in a blast of reeking ooze. Variant: Cavigog SpellcastersCavigogs that were once spellcasters might retain some of their ability to cast spells. Such cavigogs typically have a higher spellcasting ability (15 or 16) than other cavigogs. Further, the cavigog gains the Spellcasting trait. A cavigog that was an arcane spellcaster, therefore, could have an Intelligence of 16 (+3) and a Spellcasting trait as follows. Cantrips (at will): acid splash, poison spray |
