Cealandrian

Personality

Meditation, and hand to hand training make up the majority of their day. They ruminate on past training experiences, and fights between one another, though they may occasionally share information with allies. They may come off as distant, but this is merely their inexperience with social activity stilling their tongue. They almost always think on a situation before acting.

Physical Description

Standing roughly 8 feet, on average, with females being slightly taller than the males. These creatures appear to be made nearly entirely of energy. However, it is merely a skin pigment that causes them to appear this way. They are luminescent, with no hair. Slim built without the distinctions of human kin (Breasts, and genitals) They would fit the idea of the Madonna in appearance.

They can however reproduce, though to do so, a Cealandrian must give years of their life force to their partner, this requires hours of mediation. They can copulate with a partner of nearly any species. Generally, the offspring have no traits of the non-Cealandrian parent, but occasionally they do. These children are reviled as leaders.

Cealandrian are winged, wingspan being roughly the same as their height. They are capable fliers, with above average maneuverability. Flying speed is roughly 1.5 times ground speed.

Relations

Cealandrian people will welcome contact from any good aligned race. They often settle with monks, of other races, offering their Storm visioned wisdom to strengthen the cumulative knowledge of their group.

Alignment

Cealandrian are fiendishly chaotic, though they adhere to the realm of 'good'. Rarely will other alignments show, though if they do, they will be good. Neutral Cealandrians are non-existent, and evil Cealandrians lose vitality at a pace, that will have them dead in less than 24 hours. Cealandrians may however 'devolve' into a more fiendish form, and embrace evil without death. Though they are no longer considered Cealandrian. They loose their wings, and luminescence. Chaotic Good.

Lands

The storm planes of Cealandria are a very cruel place. Massive thunderheads, giant raging storms, and rough seas. The plane they hail from would be death for all but the most hardy. In order to survive the exposure of the plains, Cealandrians have evolved into resilient creatures, capable of surviving this harsh environment.

Religion

Cealandrians generally scorn organized religion, though if they do pick a deity (not uncommon) it would likely be one of the many thunder, or lightning deities from their home plane.

Language

Cealandrian people speak Celestial, and common mostly. Though depending on their home, they may use other languages to blend in. They often pair with other races, feeling that mixing their lines will make them stronger.

Names

Cealandrian parents generally name their children during long periods of mediation, selecting something they found meaningful in their meditation. It is not uncommon for a Cealandrian to have no real name, but use one for the purposes of communication.

  • Cealandrian base land speed is 40 feet. Flying is 60 feet, with above average maneuverability
  • Eye of The Storm (ex): The calmest place of any storm, remains the eye. Being such, the holder of this skill remains calm in all situations, rendering them immune to fear effects, and affects which alter their state of mind.
  • Creator's Chaos: You are caught in the chaos of their creator. You are always considered Chaotic Good, overriding things that would change alignment. If a Cealandrian's alignment changes to evil, they begin to age rapidly, dying in less than 24 hours.
  • Luminescence (Ex): A Cealandrian emits a bit of a glow. You suffer a -4 penalty on hide checks.
  • Automatic Languages: Celestial, Common. Bonus Languages: Aquan, Terran, Ignan, Abyssal, Infernal.
  • Favored Class: Monk.
