Evocation
Level: Wizard/Sorcerer level 4
Components: V, S
Casting time: Full-round Action
Range: Long (100'+10'/lvl)
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: Fort partial. (1/2 damage)
Spell Resistance: yes

A volley of magical energy missiles darts forth from your fingertips and strikes its target(s), dealing 1d6+1 points of force damage each.

The missiles strike unerringly, even if the target is in melee combat or has less than total cover or total concealment. Specific parts of a creature can’t be singled out. Inanimate objects are not damaged by the spell.

You gain an additional 2 missiles at every 1 caster levels (4 missiles at 2nd level, 14 at 7th, 18 at 9th, 22 at 11th, etc), to a maximum of 42 missiles at 21st level. If you shoot multiple missiles, you can have them strike a single creature or several creatures. A caster can strike up to 12 missiles on one creature, and can target up to 6 targets at once. You must designate targets before you check for spell resistance or roll damage.

This spell counts as Magic Missile for any spells, magic items, or abilities that protect against Magic Missile.
