More information...

You see what looks like a 2-tentacled squid with a pulsing brain. Its single large eye glares at you maliciously as slime drips to the ground.

Parasites are malicious, squidlike, life feeding, well, parasites from Limbo. They are about 2 feet tall, and weigh about 10 pounds. They need life to survive and are usually found on a host who's brain and life is slowly being eaten. They enjoy causing pain and death but are very frail themselves. They are the bane of all druids as they destroy all living things with glee.

Combat

Parasites either attack with their hosts most powerful attack or, if they have no host, then target the most powerful opponent and take control over it.

Imp. Grab (Ex.): To use this ability, a parasite must hit a creature at most one size larger than itself with its tentacle attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. If it wins the grapple check, it establishes a hold and can try to brain meld the opponent in the following round.

Brain Meld (Su.): If a parasite establishes a hold, it can brain meld. The Opponent must make a fortitude save (DC 16) or gain the Parasite Brain Washed template and take 1d4 intelligence drain. If the target has a +4 or more natural armor bonus, this attack doesn't work.
