You hold up your spyglass to your eye, and the enemy's secrets pour over the lens in a flurry of numbers and letters. Stats, bar graphs, secret abilities... now you know what to expect.
With this spell you target one particular creature type and receive a flood of information on the enemy. You may make an appropriate Knowledge check to identify your opponent, even if you have no ranks. You receive an insight bonus equal to your caster level + 5 on this check (maximum 25 at 20th level).
If you fail your Knowledge check, you still divine the creatures name and type, but nothing else.
Focus: One spyglass worth 1000 gp.
