This spell instantly mummifies a body in a way that is appropriate for the corpse's culture. This does not in any way prepare the corpse to become an undead mummy. It also does not create a tomb or sarcophagus. It does create the necessary wrappings, embalming fluid, etc, and applies them expertly.
