Breakdown
Transmutation
Level: Sor/Wiz 4
Components: S
Casting time: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: Yes (object)

If a metal object has been made out of different metal elements melded together, this spell allows you to separate them into their pure forms. You can only have the exact amount of metal put into the object, so if an object is half copper and half bronze, you will get two chunks of metal that if smelted together would result in the same amount of metal that you had in the original object.

When you cast this spell, you grab the metal and pull, separating the two types of metal as you do.
