Fomorians

Personality

Fomorians are a strange, reclusive race. They do not often interact with other races, though are very charismatic when they do.

Physical Description

Fomorians are humanoid in all appearance, save for their head, which resembles that of a goat. Their hair and fur tends to have a whitish, brown, or ruddy color. They also tend to have pale skin.

Relations

Fomorians are reclusive, and as such do not interact extensively with other races. Fomorians tend to be apprehensive when dealing with unknown factors.

Lands

Fomorians inhabit material planes, though are somewhat uncommon on the prime material plane. They also tend to inhabit areas with strong magical energy.

Religion

Fomorians tend to be a religious people, and tend to worship any and/or all nature deities.

Language

Fomorians mainly speak their own language (Fomorian) though all learn common, and they have a natural aptitude for learning other languages.

Names

Fomorians tend to have names relating to their physical appearance or their profession. Male Fomorians tend to adopt their mothers’ forenames as a surname, while the females adopt their fathers’ forenames as surnames. Fomorian names are unisex. Examples include Thatcher, Browneyes, Smith, etc.

Racial Traits

  • +2 Strength, −4 Constitution, +2 Intelligence. Being related distantly to animals, Fomorians are stronger than most humans, and are swift. They are mentally alert and logical, as their society encourages these traits. They are physically frail, however.
  • Monstrous Humanoid
  • Medium. This race receives no benefits or penalties from size.
  • Fomorians' base land speed is 30 feet.
  • Automatic Languages: Common, Fomorian. Bonus Languages: Any language.
  • Favored Class: Ranger.
